Unconventional Beauty: Tips that will boost

By LawrenceGarcia

It’s easy to get sucked into a world of fillers, filters, and face tunes. You can spend hours looking at your skin and wondering why Kylie Jenner’s facial Unconventional Beauty wash hasn’t given the glowing skin she promised.

It took me almost 21 years to understand the concept of feeling beautiful. If there is one thing I have learned, it is that it takes more than just having the best foundations or the top-rated teeth whitening kits. Last year’s Love Island 8th place couple promoted them as the perfect way to feel beautiful. These are my favourite unconventional beauty tips to make you look and feel your best.

Practice self love affirmations

We often find ourselves making negative comments about our appearance and expressing them out loud. This can lead to a toxic thought cycle that fuels feelings of insecurity, low self-worth, and self-worth. A positive outlook will help you start the day by saying at least five affirmations as you go through your morning routine. Watch your confidence grow and you will transform your mental health.

Unconventional beauty Meditation for the morning

It doesn’t take a lot to be the next Buddha. But a simple meditation, or just taking five to ten deep breaths each morning or night can make a big difference. I felt good about myself after taking this time. That’s what unconventional beauty is to me. Be present and comfortable wherever you are.

For improved stress management, emotional health, and self-awareness, I recommend that you breathe in for four seconds, hold it there for eight seconds, and then exhale for six seconds.

Facial massages to tone and drain the lymphatic system

This tip will not be a quick fix. However, mindful facial massage can help to clear your lymph nodes and improve circulation. It’s a great way to get your face moving!

  1. Lightly coat your face with your favourite moisturiser or facial oil.
  2. Locate the point where your jawbone meets your neck, and gently massage this area towards your collarbone using your fingertips.
  3. Gently stroke down from the area just below your cheekbone.
  4. Lightly tap your face to finish your massage. Start at your forehead, and work your way down towards your jawline.
