State Labor Laws – Protect the Employees Against Exploitation

1. Minimum Wage Which Must Be Given To The Employers
As per the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act, a member of the staff who owns a spouse, kids, family and parents must be provided with the income or earnings of $7.25 per hour.

2. Every Employee Must Be Provided With Equal Salary Without Any Discrimination On The Basis Of Gender
“Equal Pay For Equal Work!” This law states that the employers must provide the accurate salary to their employers without any discrimination on the basis of gender. If any employer is found overlooking this law, he/she must get ready to face the severe punishments.

3. Hiring The Employees
Well, this law restricts the employers from hiring the children who are below 14 years. Apart from this, the company owners can hire any employee of their choice. However, they cannot discriminate their employees on the basis of creed, arrest record, disability, martial status, ancestry, disability, marital status, religion, nationality, sex or any other basis.

4. Inequity And Unjustified Treatment
Company owners are not allowed to discriminate or terminate their employers on the basis of caste, creed, color, sex, religion, arrest records, ancestry or any physical disability. This can bring the employers close to some severe punishments.

5. Injury at the working place
It is the responsibility of the employer to prevent their workers from injuries at the working place. In case, any employee is injured then the job provider must supply the candidates with proper medical treatment.

6. Safety and health protection
This law states that the company owners must make sure that their employees are working under safe and secured position. The work load must not impart any adverse affect on the health of these employees.
